The day, summed up every night
Everyone sees the hours and top projects in the team channel without opening a dashboard.
Slack
Staffic posts a daily team summary, new leave requests and budget alerts to a Slack channel, sends people their own updates as direct messages, and answers /staffic with the hours you've tracked. The Staffic desktop app tracks the time; Slack is where the team sees it, on every Staffic plan.

In short
Staffic Slack time tracking is the Slack integration in Staffic. It posts the day's tracked hours, leave requests and budget alerts to a channel you choose, sends task, leave and payment updates to people as direct messages, and answers the /staffic command with your own hours. Time is tracked by the Staffic desktop app, and the integration is included in every plan.
How it works
Staffic does the tracking; Slack is where the numbers show up.
Slack time tracking
Install the Staffic app in your Slack workspace, pick the channel it posts to and switch each update on or off. Nobody has to open a report to know how the day went.
Staffic posts to a public channel you pick, without being invited to it. Send a test message to check, then leave the daily summary, leave requests, budget alerts and personal notifications on, or switch any of them off.
At 23:00 in your organization's time zone, Staffic posts the day: members who worked, hours worked, average activity and the top members and projects. Days with no tracked time are skipped.
A new leave request is posted to the channel and sent to each admin as a direct message, with a Review in Staffic button. When a project reaches its budget alert, the channel gets one post for that alert.
Type /staffic in any channel to see whether you're tracking and your hours today. /staffic today breaks the day down by project and /staffic week totals the week. Only you see the reply.
