Clock in at the desk, not the door
Staff clock in on the computer they work at, so the record starts when the work does.
Clocking In System
Staffic is a clocking in system that runs on the desktop timer your staff already use for time tracking. Starting the timer clocks a member in and the last stop of the day clocks them out, so there is no clocking in machine or signing in sheet to keep. Managers see every start, finish and hours worked by date.

In short
Staffic Clocking In System is the clocking in and out system inside the Staffic time tracker, on every plan. A member's first timer start of the day is their clock in and the last stop is their clock out. Managers check average clocking in times, add missed time with a reason, approve the hours and export the record to PDF or Excel for payroll.
How it works
A staff clocking in system that asks your team for nothing new: the timer they start for time tracking writes the record.
Clocking in system
Your staff already start a timer when they sit down to work. Staffic turns those starts and stops into the clocking in record.
Attendance, Clock in / out lists each finished day with the staff who worked it, earliest clock in first, and their clock out and time worked beside it. Filter by one or more members to see a single person's days.
For any range of past days, Clock In/Out shows the average clock in, the average clock out and the average time worked per day. Pick a few members and the averages follow them, so a pattern of late starts is easy to see before you raise it.
The desktop app stops tracking after 5 minutes with no keyboard or mouse input, or when the computer sleeps or locks. A timer left running at home time doesn't turn into a 14 hour day, and the clock out is the end of the last tracked time.
If someone starts work without the timer, an admin adds the missing time by hand with the project, the time range and a reason. Staff can add their own when you switch it on. The Manual Time report lists every addition and deletion with its reason.
Turn on timesheet approval and each finished day waits for a manager. Approve or reject a member's day, or reject part of one session, and the History tab keeps every decision.
Filter the record to the staff and pay period you need, then save it as a PDF or Excel file for staff files or a payroll check. Times stay in your organisation's time zone.

The record holds tracked time only. When a member's timer is off, Staffic records nothing.

A clocking in system records when staff start and finish work, the job a clocking in machine or a signing in sheet used to do. Staffic does it with the desktop timer your staff use for time tracking: the first start of the day is the clock in and the last stop is the clock out.
With the Staffic desktop app's timer: it goes on when the working day starts and off when it ends. There is no separate clocking in button to press, and managers see each finished day under Attendance, Clock in / out.
No. Staffic runs on the computers your staff already work on, through its desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. The web app shows the record, so nothing needs to be fitted or handed out.
The desktop app stops tracking after 5 minutes without keyboard or mouse input, or when the computer sleeps or locks. The clock out is then the end of their last tracked time, not the moment they come back the next morning.
Yes. An admin adds the missing time by hand with the project, the time range and a reason, and staff can add their own if you allow it. The Manual Time report keeps every change with its reason.
No. Time worked is the time the timer ran, so a break taken with the timer off is left out. Someone clocked in from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30 minute lunch away from the timer shows 8 hours worked.
Yes. Each member sees their own days in the web app, while admins and roles with the Attendance module see the whole team. Everyone sees the same days because they follow your organisation's time zone.
Yes. Filter Clock In/Out to the people and pay period you need, then export it as a PDF or Excel file. Turn on timesheet approval first if a manager should sign off each day.
Every plan includes Clocking In System. Free covers up to 3 members. Standard is $7.50 per user per month billed yearly or $9.50 billed monthly, and Elite is $10.00 per user per month billed yearly or $13.00 billed monthly.
