Pay the hours you approved
Members track time, managers approve it on Elite, and Payroll works out hourly pay from the approved hours and each member's pay rate.
Time and Attendance
Staffic is time and attendance software that builds attendance from the hours your team already tracks in the desktop app. Clock-ins, timesheets, leave and approvals share one record, and on the Elite plan, Payroll can pay only the hours you approve. Clock In/Out starts on Standard.

In short
Staffic Time and Attendance is time and attendance tracking software built on the hours your team tracks in the desktop app. Each member's first and last tracked session of the day becomes their clock-in and clock-out, timesheets total the hours, and leave requests record time away. On Elite, managers approve timesheets and Payroll pays from them. Clock In/Out and monthly timesheets start on Standard.
How it works
Staffic works as a time and attendance app in four steps, with nothing extra for members to punch.
Time & attendance software
Every part reads the same tracked hours: timesheets total them, Clock In/Out turns them into attendance, and approval and payroll close the loop.
Members track time on projects and tasks in the desktop app. Staffic builds timesheets, clock-ins and clock-outs from those sessions, keeps leave next to them, and on Elite sends approved hours to Payroll.
Daily, weekly and bi-weekly timesheets add up each member's tracked time per day, on every plan. Standard adds monthly and custom ranges, and any timesheet can be shown in another time zone.
Nobody punches a separate clock. Clock In/Out reads each member's first and last tracked session of the day, and only the time the timer recorded in between counts as Time Worked.
Members apply for leave with a date range and a reason, and admins or roles with Leave Management access approve or reject it. Each member's details show the leave days available and taken, so time away is on record instead of in a chat thread.
Turn approval on for everyone or for chosen members in Settings, Timesheet. Approvers review each awaiting timesheet by project and task, approve it or reject time, and nobody can approve their own hours.
When time is added by hand or deleted, the Manual Time report lists the member, the change, its date and the reason given. Admins decide whether members may add manual time at all.
Payroll multiplies each member's time worked by their pay rate. When approval is on, only approved time counts, and monthly salaries and fixed payments sit on their own tabs.
Showing Attendance and hours in one record.

Control and privacy
Attendance comes from tracked time only. When a member's timer is off, Staffic records nothing.

Time and attendance software records when people work and when they're away, then totals the hours for payroll. Staffic does this from the time your team tracks in its desktop app, so clock-ins, timesheets and leave come from one record. On the Elite plan, managers approve the hours and run payroll from them.
It's the whole process for recording hours and absences: the tool, the rules for approving time and the records you keep. In Staffic, that means the desktop app plus your settings: who needs timesheets approved, each member's leave allowance and which roles can see attendance.
Time and attendance means tracking the hours employees work and the days they're present or away. Time covers hours on projects and tasks; attendance covers start and finish times and leave. Staffic keeps both together: hours from the desktop timer, attendance from each day's first and last session, and leave from approved requests.
Manage it from one record and a weekly routine. In Staffic, members track time in the desktop app, and you check Clock In/Out and timesheets for missing days, approve leave and, on Elite, approve timesheets before payroll. Keeping hours and leave in separate tools means checking one against the other by hand.
Install the Staffic desktop app for each employee and have them start the timer when they work. The timer records hours on projects and tasks on every plan. From Standard, Clock In/Out turns the same sessions into clock-in and clock-out times, and each member's details show the leave they've taken.
Automated records come from the work itself, so nobody fills in a timesheet from memory or forgets to clock out. In Staffic, the clock-in is the first tracked session, time worked leaves out breaks with the timer off, and every manual edit is logged with a reason. Time and attendance systems built this way leave less to check before payroll.
Yes, on the Elite plan. Payroll multiplies each member's time worked by their pay rate, and when timesheet approval is on, only approved time counts. An invoice line linked to a project fills in the part of its billable amount that earlier invoices haven't billed, from tracked hours or a fixed fee. Leave days don't change pay amounts on their own.
Standard and Elite include Time and Attendance; the Free plan does not. Standard is $5.50 per user per month billed yearly ($1.00 during the current offer, until September 12, 2027) or $7.50 billed monthly, and Elite is $5.80 per user per month billed yearly or $9.80 billed monthly. Both start with a 7-day free trial.
