What is Staffic Absence Management?
Staffic Absence Management is the absence tracking software inside Staffic, on every plan. Clock In/Out lists only the staff who tracked time each day, so an unplanned absence shows as a missing row. The member records it as a leave request with dates and a reason, a manager approves it, and the days count on the Balances tab for that month.

Staffic doesn't mark anyone absent for you. It shows who worked, so you can see who didn't and put the reason on record.
Each finished day in Attendance, Clock in / out lists the staff who tracked time. Filter by one member and a missing day stands out in their list.

Staff open Apply for leave, pick the days they were or will be away and write the reason, for example a sick day or a family emergency. Past dates are allowed, so an absence can go on record when the person is back.

The monthly timesheet shows a member's hours on a calendar. A blank working day is a day with no tracked time, so you can compare it with their absence requests before you talk to them.

The Balances tab gives each person a row of approved days off by month, plus a yearly total. An absence that runs into the next month counts in both.

Reasons for absence can be personal, so only admins and roles you pick see the team's requests.

What is absence management software?
Absence management software keeps a record of when staff were away, why, and how much absence each person has had. Staffic does this with the time your team tracks: a day without a clock in shows who was away, and a leave request with a reason puts the absence on record.
How do I track staff absence in Staffic?
Check Attendance, Clock in / out for the days someone has no row, then ask them to record the absence under Attendance, Leave with the dates and a reason. Approved absences show on the Balances tab for each month.
Can staff record a sick day after it has happened?
Yes. A request can cover past dates, so a member records the day they were off when they're back. A manager then approves or rejects it.
Does Staffic mark people absent automatically?
No. Staffic shows who tracked time each day and never labels anyone absent or late on its own. The member records the reason, and a manager decides on it.
Can I record different kinds of absence?
There are no separate leave types. Every absence is one kind of request, and the reason the member writes says what it was, such as a sick day or an appointment.
Do absences come off the holiday allowance?
Yes, because Staffic keeps one leave balance per member, every approved request comes off it. If an absence shouldn't reduce someone's holiday, an admin corrects their days left with Edit leaves on the member's profile.
Can I see how much absence each person has had?
Yes. The Balances tab lists each member's approved days for every month of the year and in total, and the member's profile shows the same by month.
How much does it cost to use Absence Management?
Every plan includes Absence Management. Free covers up to 3 members. Standard is $7.50 per user per month billed yearly or $9.50 billed monthly, and Elite is $10.00 per user per month billed yearly or $13.00 billed monthly.
