Retire the holiday spreadsheet
Set the allowance once and every approved request updates the person's days left on its own.
Staff Holiday Planner
Staffic is a staff holiday planner inside the time tracker your team already uses. Staff book holiday with the dates and a reason, a manager approves or rejects it, and approved days come off that person's annual leave allowance. Each month shows who took how many days.

In short
Staffic Staff Holiday Planner is the annual leave tracker inside Staffic, on every plan. Staff book holiday with a date range and a reason. An admin or a manager whose role includes Leave Management approves or rejects it, and the member is notified. Approved days come off their holiday allowance, and the Balances tab shows every member's days taken for each month of the year.
How it works
Set the allowance once and staff can book holiday the same day.
Staff holiday planner
Holiday requests, approvals and allowances live in Staffic with the time your team tracks, so nobody needs a separate holiday spreadsheet.
Under Attendance, Leave, staff click Apply for leave, pick the first and last day and write a reason. Their requests list shows each one's dates, days and status.
Holiday requests from the whole team wait in the Requests tab with their dates, days and reason. A line manager with Leave Management access, or any admin, gives each one a yes or no, and the member is notified. Managers can't answer their own request, and going over someone's allowance asks for a confirmation first.
Set Global leave, the holiday days a year for everyone, then give anyone with a different allowance their own number. Each member's profile shows days available, days taken this year and a month by month breakdown, and Edit leaves corrects a balance by hand.
The Balances tab is the annual leave planner view: one row per member, with the days taken in every month from January to December, the total taken and the days still available.
Connect Slack and, with its leave requests update on (it starts on), each new holiday request is posted to the channel you pick and sent to the admins as a direct message. Managers see it where they already talk and answer it in Staffic.

A staff holiday planner is where a team books time off and a manager sees who is away and when. In Staffic, staff book holiday under Attendance, Leave, a manager approves it, and the Balances tab shows each person's holiday month by month, next to the hours they track.
Each member books their own holiday with Apply for leave: the first and last day, then a reason. The request waits as Pending, and the member sees the answer in their requests list and as a notification.
You enter Global leave, the holiday days a year for everyone, in Settings, Activity & privacy. Anyone who gets a different number, such as a part time member, gets their own Leave days value, and approved holiday comes off whichever applies.
Yes, on the Balances tab: one row per person, a column per month and the days left at the end. It is a table rather than a wall chart or calendar, and the Requests tab gives each booking's exact dates.
Staffic has no bank holiday calendar, and a request counts every calendar day in its range, weekends included. Book a Monday to Friday week as one request and it counts 5 days; for a longer break, book each week separately so the weekend isn't counted.
Yes. Each member sees their own requests with their status, and their profile shows days available, days taken this year and a month by month breakdown. Managers see the same for the whole team on the Balances tab.
Approving it asks for a confirmation first. If you go ahead, the balance goes below zero, so the shortfall is visible on the member's profile.
Yes. With Slack connected and its leave requests update on, each new request is posted to the channel you pick and sent to the admins as a direct message. The answer is still given in Staffic.
Every plan includes Staff Holiday Planner. Free covers up to 3 members. Standard is $7.50 per user per month billed yearly or $9.50 billed monthly, and Elite is $10.00 per user per month billed yearly or $13.00 billed monthly.
