How to Use Live Feed

Admin

/user/live-feed

Monitor who is actively tracking time right now and capture on-demand screenshots of any member’s screen (admins only).

Open Live Feed

  1. Step 1: Open Live Feed

Sign in as an admin at app.staffic.io, then click Live Feed under Analyze in the left sidebar. Members without admin access will not see this menu item.

Live Feed is available on plans that include remote tracking. Screenshot capture must also be enabled in Settings for your organization.

  2. Step 2: Search for a member

Use the search box at the top to filter the list by member name when you have a large team.

View Active Members in Real Time

  1. Who appears on Live Feed

The table lists members who are currently tracking time. A green dot next to their name means they are active right now. When someone stops tracking, they drop off the feed automatically.

    • Member Name

Profile photo, online indicator, and full name of the active tracker.

    • Project

The project they are tracking time against at this moment.

    • Task

The task currently in progress (for example, General Work or Bids Management).

    • Action — Take Screenshot

Admins can click Take Screenshot on any row to request a live capture of that member’s screen immediately.

Capture Live Screenshots

  1. Step 1: Take a screenshot for one member

On the Live Feed row for the member you want to check, click Take Screenshot. Staffic captures their screen in real time while they are actively tracking. The capture is tied to their current project and task.

  2. Step 2: Open Instant Screenshots

Click the Instant Screenshots button in the top-right of Live Feed to open the full log of on-demand captures. Use the date control (for example, Today) to review screenshots from a specific day.

    • Screenshots

Thumbnail preview of the captured screen. A badge such as ×2 means multiple frames were taken in one request.

    • Project & Task

What the member was working on when the screenshot was taken.

    • Member

      Who was captured.

    • Screenshot taken

Exact time of the capture (for example, 10:04 AM).

Only admins can trigger live screenshots. Share your monitoring policy with the team and enable screenshots in Settings only where policy and consent allow.

Tip: Use Live Feed for coordination and spot checks during the workday. For scheduled or automatic captures, use Remote Track → Screenshots instead.

Tips

  • Live Feed updates in real time — refresh is not required to see who is currently tracking.
  • Take Screenshot works only while the member is active on the desktop tracker.
  • Review all on-demand captures under Instant Screenshots; filter by date to audit a specific day.
